Resting with Amma

Dreamed I was sleeping in the same bed as Amma. Amma was wearing her usual white saree. Amma was sleeping curled up on her right hand side. I was sleeping curled up on my left hand side. My head was resting on Amma's upper left thigh like it was my pillow. It was an unusually long bed. I was feeling very happy and blessed to be close to Amma. At one or two times I had to move around and I was afraid I would awaken Amma, but she just slept right through. 

Amma Dream 4 Feb 07.

Dreamed that I was with my Dad in some kind of hotel lobby. Nearby were some stairs and I saw Amma standing on the stairs with some other devotees. Amma was dressed in orange robes and She was affectionately rubbing the back of the female devotee in front of Her. I was feeling very envious because I wanted to receive Amma's affection and darshan. Amma's skin was a light color and Her hair was light brown. Then the scene shifted and Amma was standing near me & my Dad. I reached out to hold Amma's hand and give it a quick kiss. As I was giving Amma's hand a kiss I was wondering what my Dad was thinking about all this devotion. I wanted to get a hug, but Amma looked at me with a sweet smile that said "I wish I could stay but I have to go now." I felt sad but I told Amma its OK for Her to leave; I would be all right. I felt a little disappointed.

Dreamed I was at this small Amma program. It was Devi Bhava and Amma was dressed in a royal blue sari giving darshan to the last remaining devotees. There weren't too many people in the room, maybe a hundred or so. I saw lots of empty chairs. I was standing next to one of the entrance doors not too far from Amma's left hand side. Amma's sari only came down to a little bit below Her knees. Amma was in a very loving and playful mood, joking with Her devotees and being very loving and sweet. At one point Amma changed position and had to pull down Her sari below Her knees. Then an Indian woman in an orange sari sat on Amma's lap. It seemed that this was the last person to get a hug. I was thinking of going to get a hug myself, but I didn't because I knew I would get a hug later on. Unlike my usual Amma dreams, I did not feel a lot of strong emotion in this dream. It felt good to be close to Amma, but I didn't feel the really strong devotion like in my other Amma dreams.

Dreamed that I was at this small Amma program. The women were on one side of the room and the men were on the other. All us devotees were dressed in white. Somehow I ended up near the front close to Amma's chair. Her chair was a wooden bench. Then Amma came in and sat down and sat down with Her legs crossed Indian style. She was wearing some dark green western style clothes with a skirt that came down to a little below Her knees. She was in a very blissful and wacky mood. She was swaying and laughing like She was drunk on bliss. Her hair was braided in lots of thin braids. I felt very lucky to be so close to Her. As She was swaying around Her skirt would creep up above Her knees and some of Her white underwear would show. I was embarrassed at this but Amma didn't seem to care. Then Amma came and gave me a hug! It felt wonderful! As She was hugging me, She whispered something I couldn't understand. Then in very clear English, She suddenly whispered "Move 2 feet to your left." I was a little surprised. To my left was a chair. I quickly moved it out of the way and I moved there. Then the dream shifted and I was standing with another attractive Caucasian female devotee in front of a puja table. The female devotee had pieces of shiny gold in her hair. The female devotee gave me a metal cup that I would be using in the upcoming puja ceremony that Amma would be leading. The female devotee asked me if it was OK if Amma poured some of the puja water on me. I replied that would be no problem at all! I felt very honored that Amma was letting me participate in the ceremony and I was thinking what a blessing it would be to have Amma pour puja water on me. I was also looking forward to getting another hug from Amma later on.
